Employment Listings: MILLING MACHINE OPERATOR

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Operate asphalt milling machine.
• Basic asphalt knowledge including milling, paving, and striping.
• Observe milling machine operation and adjust controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerance.
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using machines/hand tools and report malfunctions to supervisors.
• Remove workpieces from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specifications.
• Must work quickly, productively, and safely to meet production goal.
• Must be an advocate of safety and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in job-site and safety meetings and all Company related training.
• Must partner with other crew members and perform additional tasks of other positions as instructed.
• Ability to execute asphalt patching or overlays and repair & maintain milling equipment.
