Description

The Asphalt Distributor Drivers responsibilities will include, shooting emulsion and asphalt cement. It will be a full-time position that will require travel and overtime. This position will also report to a job foreman.

Responsibilities/Abilities

• Operating and driving asphalt truck to spray roads
• Adjust burner to heat liquid and begin pumping
• Use spray bars to achieve width of spray
• Knowing how to control flow of material and fix levers
• Watch flow gages
• Perform daily safety checks
• Ability to prime and seal on daily basis
• Oversee the efficient working conditions of equipment
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations
• Other job duties as needed

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid CDL, class A or B
• Hazmat endorsement
